[ARCHIVED] From the County Judge - UPDATE Statement from TCEQ

The TCEQ has been monitoring air quality around the incident site since shortly after the accident occurred. The TCEQ has monitored no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or particulate matter at levels of concern. As with any fire, if smoke is irritating to residents, they should try to stay out of the smoke plume. Staff will continue to monitor and coordinate with local emergency officials.
