[ARCHIVED] County Offers Free Dump Day

March 28th marks the first of this year’s free dump days for Ellis County residents. This is a time to take advantage of a chance to dispose of trash, tires (limit of 10), furniture, mattresses, and this year – even your old car batteries! Location for this event will be in Bristol: 5700 FM 660 (Corner of Union Hill & FM 660). Hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. to noon .. or until space in the dumpsters runs out.

Unfortunately, we still cannot accept Freon, TV’s, computers, chemicals, or liquids. If you have any questions, please call 972-825-5555 for more information. And remember to visit the county web-site at www.co.ellis.tx.us for updates on future dump day events and recycling information.
