[ARCHIVED] TRAFFIC ADVISORY SH 34 in the City of Bardwell, JUNE 19th

First Responders and Public Officials,

The BNSF railroad will be removing and replacing the road crossing at SH 34 in Bardwell on Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The crossing will be totally removed during this time. BNSF will provide the detour, (via the detour of Waxahachie Ave to Commerce St to FM 984) signage and personnel to monitor the area.

TxDOT will provide portable changeable message signs beginning Wednesday June 13, 2018 to alert the traveling public of the upcoming closure and work.

The railroad will make a temporary pavement tie-in on the day of the work and TxDOT will return at a later date once the tracks have settled to make a permanent roadway tie in.
