“37 Additional Recovered Cases of COVID-19 in Ellis County”

April 21, 2020- The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) actively monitors COVID-19 in Ellis County. Ellis County reports on COVID-19 cases as they are delivered to our Local Health Authority by DSHS.

 As of this evening, DSHS has reported an additional 37 recovered cases of COVID-19 to the Ellis County Office of Emergency Management (OEM). These cases include 35 recovered confirmed positive cases and 2 probables, increasing the countywide total to 60 recovered cases of COVID-19.

 Additionally, DSHS has informed OEM the recently reported COVID-19 positive case of a 53 year-old female resident of the city of Oak Leaf, is actually a 53 year-old female resident of the city of Ovilla. The graphs provided have been adjusted to reflect the following data.
