“30 Recoveries & 3 Additional Cases of COVID-19 in Ellis County”

May 21, 2020 - The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has notified the Ellis County Local Health Authority of three additional confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 and thirty recoveries. This increases the countywide total to 289 cases of COVID-19, including 240 recoveries.

These three additional cases of COVID-19 include a 43 year-old female of Midlothian, a 52 year-old female of Red Oak, and a 53 year-old male of Waxahachie.

As of today, DSHS has reported 3,741 tests administered in Ellis County. These updates can be found on their website at https://www.dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/additionaldata/.
